Chassis We have already dismantled all the parts, grill, bumpers, cab, bodywork, footboards, motor block, gearbox, etc. until all we had was a completely clean and bare chassis. The chassis was found to be in a very good state, with only some surface rust and an unbelievable amount of sand caked on by oil and grease. Thorough cleaning with steel wire brushes revealed a near pristine chassis which gratefully absorbed the paint we offered.
